City firefighters were notified at 10:58 a.m. Sept. 23 about a cat stuck underneath a truck at the fire station on Barron Road.
According to the report, firefighters found a cat on the coil spring of the vehicle. The cat was removed and turned it over to the Poplar Bluff Animal Control Shelter.

City firefighters responded at 4:50 p.m. Sept. 23, to report of a fire behind 905 Kendall Avenue, occupied by Collin Midkisf.
According to the report, firefighters found two juveniles burning trash in the back yard and used 20 gallons to put out the fire.
Firefighters told the juveniles about the city’s burn ordinances and ordinances against having no trash service.
