Douglas M. Tisdal, 27, of Naylor was arrested at 10:44 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, no insurance, possession of marijuana, purchased vehicle without transferring title and driving while suspended. He was booked at the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department.

Alex C. Colyott, 27, of Ellsinore was arrested at 10:19 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

A 35-year-old East St. Louis, Ill., woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 12:54 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, on Interstate 55 in the Sikeston city limits.

According to the report, Rene K. Masko, 53, of Indianapolis, Ind., was operating a northbound 2015 Freightliner, which was stopped in the passing lane.

At the same time, Teara L. Gully was operating a 2019 Toyota Camry northbound, and she attempted to avoid Masko’s vehicle, but struck the right rear corner of its trailer.

Gully was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:06 p.m. She is the 39th fatality in Troop E this year.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

Harlan Barnard Russell, of the 1600 block of Cravens Road reported his residence was entered between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sept. 23.

According to the report, bows, arrows and a 9mm Kel-Tec handgun were stolen.

Thomas and Ruth Newman, of the 3500 block of Brandyn Avenue reported their home was entered between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sept. 24.

According to the report, the home was ransacked and jewelry and change were stolen.

Timara G. Howton reported TNT Western Store, in the 300 block of Highway M was forcibly entered between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sept. 21.

According to the report, two pairs of cowboy boots were stolen.

Don Lee Harris reported on Sept. 20 that a Chevrolet Cobalt, belonging to Kenneth Michael Stevens, of House Springs, Mo., was stolen from his residence on County Road 553.

Alex Christopher Colyott, 27, of the 900 block of Harper Street was booked at the Butler County jail on Sept. 23 on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine precursors.

Steven Jamaine Mays, 21, of Sikeston, was booked at the Butler County jail Sept. 23 on suspicion of second-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

Alfred Rivers, 39, of the 900 block of Ivadene Street was booked at the Butler County jail Sept. 23 on a Wayne County failure to appear warrant for no insurance.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Leroy W. Wilson, 42, of Hayti was arrested at 9:27 p.m. Sept. 23 in the 2600 block of North Westwood Boulevard on a Pemiscot County warrant for harassment. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Officers responded to a call at 4:30 a.m. Sept. 24 at JD’s Quick Stop in the 1500 block of North Main.

According to the report, the officers found the front door glass had been damaged, but it appeared no entry was gained.
