MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 51-year-old Marble Hill man was killed in a motorcycle crash at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, on Highway 72, four miles west of Patton, in Bollinger County.
According to the report, Lester C. Chapman was operating a 1987 Suzuki Cavalcade eastbound when he lost control, and his motorcycle ran off the left side of the road. Chapman’s motorcycle then reportedly struck a driveway and overturned.
Chapman, who was ejected, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:18 p.m. by Bollinger County Coroner Charlie Hutchings. Chapman is the 38th fatality in Troop E this year.

Two are women were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 3:28 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, on U.S. 67, two miles south of Fredericktown, in Madison County.
According to the report, Felicia M. Worley, 25, of Alicia, Ark., was operating a 2005 Buick LaCrosse northbound when she lost control of her car, and it struck the rear of a stopped 2011 Chevrolet Traverse.
Worley’s car then reportedly struck the median barrier cable.
Worley suffered moderate injuries, while her 20-year-old passenger, Jordyn A. Tidwell of Doniphan, suffered minor injuries.
Tidwell was taken by ambulance to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown for treatment.
Worley was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.

A 36-year-old Poplar Bluff man was injured in a motorcycle crash at 4:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, near the intersection of Shelby Road and Kanell Boulevard.
According to the report, Robert L. Rupp of the 1000 block of County Road 467 was operating a 2011 Taiz motorcycle southbound on Shelby between Kanell and Roxie Road.
Rupp’s motorcycle reportedly left the road on the right side, and he lost control on the gravel shoulder.
Rupp, who was ejected, suffered head, neck and upper body injuries. He was taken to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
