Linda Sue Saul, 71, of Arnold, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019 at DeGreef Hospice House in St. Louis.
Linda, the daughter of the late Belva Luther and Verna Blanche Magill Garrett, was born Jan. 23, 1948, in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Baptist faith. Linda attended school in Poplar Bluff, and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family. Her favorite pastime was fishing with her husband. Linda married Bud Floyd Saul on Dec. 17, 1966, in Poplar Bluff. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a sister, Belva Jean Garrett Ingram, of House Springs, Mo.; a nephew, Rev. William Garrett; a great-nephew Robert Myrant Garrett of Lebanon, Mo.; and a great niece, Faith Ann Garrett of Poplar Bluff.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Edward Garrett and Dennis Lowell Garrett and a sister, Sandra Karen Garrett.
The visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel with Rev. Blaine Graham officiating and her nephew, Rev. William Garrett assisting. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Butler County.
