Sacred Heart names August students of the month

Rebecca Rhodes has been named the Sacred Heart preschool student of the month. She is a student in Ms Terry’s classroom. Ms. Terry’s says the Rebecca follows the rules and always willing to help others.

Rebecca has a new baby brother named Rhody and enjoys when her family is all together.

She loves to play outside where she can run and play and her favorite class is music because she loves to sing. When Rebecca grows up she wants to be a doctor because she wants to make people feel better. Her favorite memory so far is the first day of school and her favorite book is Are You My Mother because she likes to help the baby bird find its mom. In Rebecca’s free time she likes to read and play and sing with her cousin, Maddy.

Meaghan Popp is Sacred Heart’s August student of the month. Meaghan is in seventh grade and is a very conscientious and hard working student states Mrs. Deken , language and literacy teacher.

Meaghan enjoys everything about her family, she has three sisters and one brother. Meaghan enjoys rollerblading and states, “ It calms her down.”

Her favorite memory of Sacred Heart is when she got to help in the kitchen with Mrs. O’ Conner and family to make bread for the church bazaar.

Her favorite class is world history and social studies. When she grows up she wants to be a doctor so she can help people. Her favorite book is The Lightning Thief and the series. Meaghan said she has a strange obsession with bows.
