MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 45-year-old Ironton man was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 2:20 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, on Highway 21, north of East Madison Street, in Ironton.
According to the report, Lucas S. Browers, 22, of Lesterville was operating a 2005 Dodge pickup southbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 1995 Ford pickup head one.
The other driver, Gary L. Russell, was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:50 a.m. by Iron County Coroner Tim Harbison. Russell is the 36th fatality in Troop E this year.

Scott Wiggs reported at about 7:50 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, that a 2014 Ford pickup, owned by BNSF Railway, was entered while it was parked at Bladwin Ford in the 800 block of South Westwood Boulevard.
According to the report, a locked tool box was forcibly entered and flashlights, miscellaneous tools and two checkbooks were among the items stolen. A complete list of items is to be provided at a later date.
