A 30-year-old Doniphan man was injured in a motorcycle accident at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, on Highway 142, at Highway 21 South in Ripley County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Micheal P. Richardson was driving an eastbound 2004 Cheetah motorcycle when he pulled into the path of a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic. The Sonic was northbound, driven by Matthew R. Stidham, 62, of Doniphan.
Richardson suffered serious injuries and was flown to Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee, for treatment.
