BLOOMFIELD — Arlie (Dean) Ham, 91, of Fisk, died Monday, Aug. 26 at his residence. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

BLOOMFIELD — Arlie (Dean) Ham passed away at his home on Monday, Aug. 26 at the age of 91. Mr. Ham was born August 1, 1928 in Puxico, son of the Late Artis and Rachel Ham. Dean was the owner of Dean’s Place in Fisk for over 60 years. He had served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy; one daughter, Janice Hancock (Bob) of Fisk; three grandchildren, John Poole Jr. (Shannon) of Fisk, Susan Parente da Costa (Chris) of Milwaukee, Wis. and James Hancock (Cassie) of Mt. Home, Ark.; six great-grandchildren and one niece, Shirley Boswell (Tom) of Puxico.

One sister, Pauline Harty preceded him in death.
