James Alvin Francis reported Tuesday, Aug. 20, that a shop building he owns in the 6700 block of Highway B at Fisk had been entered sometime since Saturday, Aug. 17.
According to the report, two generators, three chain saws, socket sets, jumper cables, aluminum loppers, miscellaneous hand tools, bench grinder, air compressor, extension bar and tree climbing equipment were among the items stolen from the shop.

Jon David Risinger of the 1000 block of Highway UU reported his residence was entered between 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, and 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20.
According to the report, a air gun tool, skilsaw, two Ruger .17-caliber air rifles and power and hand tools were among the items stolen from his home.

David Eugene Pennington reported Tuesday, Aug. 20, that a home he owns in the 13300 block of Highway 67 South at Neelyville had been forcibly entered.
According to the report, the home’s occupant, Silvestre Quintanares Barreras, had a cellphone, projector, pesos, luggage, clothing and various household items stolen. The man’s wallet, containing his passport, work visa and debit card, also was stolen.

Steve Darrall Risinger of Poplar Bluff reported sometime after 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, a weed trimmer had been stolen from his carport on James Street.
Another James Street resident, David W. Brown, reported a chain saw was missing from his residence.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
Two Mill Spring residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, on U.S. 67, just south of County Road 441, in Butler County.
According to the report, Brian A. Browning, 42, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2015 Chevrolet westbound when it pulled into the path of a 2003 Dodge truck being driven southbound by Franklin J. Carpenter, 68, of Mill Spring.
Carpenter suffered moderate injuries, while his 23-year-old passenger, Tyler D. Johnson, suffered minor injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 41-year-old Grandin woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 8:31 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, on Highway 21, one-half mile north of U.S. 160.
According to the report, Stacy D. Tucker was operating a 2005 Dodge Caravan northbound when it struck a deer.
Tucker suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 35-year-old Neelyville man was injured in a motorcycle crash at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, on County Road 441, one-half mile south of Highway PP, in Butler County.
According to the report, Gayland D. Vernon was operating a 2006 Honda motorcycle southbound when he lost control, and his motorcycle overturned in the road.
Vernon suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Stuart E. Cox, 71, of Ellington was arrested at 6:53 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance at a county jail and possession of drug paraphernalia and two Reynolds County warrants for a drug violation and fraud. He was booked at the Reynolds County Jail.
