TRACTOR, VEHICLE ACCIDENT

A Poplar Bluff man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 6:15 p.m. Friday on HIghway 60 westbound, one mile west of Fisk.

According to the report, Gregory L. Despain, 56, was westbound when his 1974 Tractor was struck in the rear by a westbound 2015 Chevrolet Cruze.

The Cruze was driven by Kristin N. Earnhart, 31, of Puxico.

Despain was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

MALDEN WOMAN HURT

A Malden woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 12:38 p.m. Saturday on Highway 114, two miles east of Dexter.

According to the report, Kelsey P. Mullins, 22, was westbound in a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze when a 2012 Kia Soul struck the passenger side of her vehicle.

The Kia was driven by Garet L. Phillips, 20, Essex.

Mullins was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

VEHICLE OVERTURNS, 2 HURT

Two Butler County residents were injured when the vehicle they were riding in overturned in an accident at 2:18 p.m. Saturday on HIghway M, four miles west of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, Jessica L. Sadler was eastbound in a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle overcorrected and then overturned on the road.

Sadler and a passenger, Jerimy D. Leonard, 37, of Neelyville were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

FELONY ARREST

Sara E. Maples, 27, of Oxly, MIssouri, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 16, on suspicion of felony tampering with a motor vehicle and no seatbelt. She was booked at Butler County jail.

WARRANT

Jennifer L. Mosbey, 43, of Kennett was arrested at 1:50 a.m. Aug. 17 on a felony Stoddard County warrant for property damage. She was booked at Stoddard County Jail.

WARRANT, DANGEROUS DRUGS

Terry R. Foster, 50, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 6:52 a.m. Aug. 17 on a felony Butler County warrant for possession of dangerous drugs. He was booked at Butler County jail.

HIT & RUN

Employees of Fiske Plumbing reported that between 8:33-8:58 a.m. Aug. 16, an unknown vehicle struck the company’s 2001 GMC Sonoma while it was in the 200 block of South Eighth Street, damaging a side mirror.

WARRANT

Bobby Fulton Cooley, 54, of Hayti was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 2200 block of Wood Street on a warrant for failure to appear. He was booked at Butler County jail.

BURGLARY

A property owner in the 1900 block of Arkansas Avenue reported they believe they arrived at the residence Aug. 17 as an unknown person was exiting the back door.

Brittany Knight, 30, of Poplar Bluff reported the back door had been forced open and items were missing. The incident occurred between 7 p.m. Aug. 16 and 8:35 a.m. Aug. 17. Items taken include a saxophone, BB guns and flooring.

VANDALISM

James Michael Thomas, 61, of the 9600 block of Meadow Oak Drive reported unknown individual(s) drilled a hole in the gas tank of his Ford F350 between Aug. 15-Aug. 16.

Crystal Elise Crump, 29, of the 5000 block of Nellie Sue Circle was booked Aug. 16 at Butler County jail to serve 24 hours shock dentention time.

DOM. ASSAULT

Christopher Jantzen Gilmore, 21, of the 500 block of County Road 527 was booked Aug. 17 at Butler County jail on suspicion of fourth degree domestic assault, first offense.

TRESPASS

Patricia Jane Gowen, 58, of the 900 block of Fairmount was booked Aug. 16 at Butler County jail on suspicion of first degree trespassing and stealing.

STALKING

Darrell L. Jackson, 41, of Overland Park, Kansas, was booked Aug. 16 at Butler County jail on suspicion of stalking, first offense.

8 COUNTS FAILURE TO APPEAR

Nathan William Jones, 23, of the 300 block of Victor was booked Aug. 16 at the Butler County jail on suspicion of shoplifting and eight counts of failure to appear on the original charges of two counts shoplifting, two counts trespassing, one count assault and three counts stealing.

POSSESSION

Derek Michael Laramore, 31, of the 3500 block of Westwood Boulevard was booked Aug. 16 at Butler County jail on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and controlled substance.

FLEEING

Brian Joseph Moritz, 35, of Steelville, Missouri, was booked Aug. 16 at Butler County jail on suspicion of resisting arrest by fleeing.

TAMPERING

Anthony Stephen Pedigo, 29, of Neelyville was booked Aug. 16 at Butler County jail on suspicion of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property.

NO LICENSE

Aaron Nathan Sheehan, 37, of the 2100 block of Spring Street was booked Aug. 16 at Butler County jail on suspicion of no driver’s license, first offense.
