Anthony Dicardo Richard, 39, of the 1400 block of Wallace Street was arrested at 9:49 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Highway 53 on a municipal failure to appear warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant for parole violation. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Jennifer Larkins reported Wednesday that the outside air conditioner unit at Edward Jones Investments in the 700 block of West Pine had been disassembled.
According to the report, the unit’s compressor had been removed and the copper torn and bent.
A detective with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division processed the scene.

David Lee Wallace, 57, of the 800 block of Second Street was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday on warrants for driving while revoked/suspended and no insurance. He later was released.

Daniel Tompkins reported July 29 that a tractor, owned by Stephen Brekennidge, was damaged while parked at a location on County Road 467.
According to the report, the tractor seats were cut in several places and its air conditioner and alternator lines also were cut. The tractor’s battery box and fuel cap were removed. Tools also were stolen from a tool box.
Poly pipe also was unrolled and cut in several places.

Allen D. Ursery of the 600 block of County Road 4481 reported Aug. 4 that his home was forcibly entered. Nothing appeared to be missing.

A Poplar Bluff woman reported Aug. 9 that her storage unit at John’s Mini Storage in the 600 block of Highway 142 had been entered.
According to the report, a TV, two jewelry boxes containing miscellaneous jewelry, two tool boxes containing miscellaneous tools, a PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, controllers, shoes and small shelves were stolen from the unit.

Mitchell Glen Whitehorn of the 500 block of County Road 569 reported Aug. 9 that his residence had been forcibly entered.
According to the report, an old drill press was taken from a garage. A complete list of missing items is to be provided at a later date.

Rhonda Joyce Brannum reported Saturday her father’s residence in the 4500 block of Highway DD at Fisk had been entered and ransacked.
According to the report, three cases containing knife collections, a TV and multiple calibers of ammunition were stolen.

A 9-year-old Poplar Bluff girl was treated at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Tuesday after she was bitten by a dog.
According to the report, Donald Ray Howdeshell of the 100 block of County Road 5211 told the deputy he and his daughter, Sophie Howdeshell, had been at a residence in the 7500 block of Highway C at Broseley.
They Howdeshells were outside when the girl asked to use the restroom. The girl reportedly entered the home and subsequently screamed. Dogs reportedly were inside the restroom.
The girl suffered bruises, a puncture wound and several scrapes on her right arm.
