City firefighters responded at 5:56 p.m. Tuesday to a report of an unauthorized burn at 1001 W. Harper St.
According to the report, firefighters found two people were cleaning up the house and yard and were burning trash in the back yard. Firefighters told the people about the city’s burn ordinance and used 50 gallons of water to put out the fire.

County firefighters responded at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday to a fire involving a camper at 3403 County Road 488.
According to the report, a 2001 Hi-Lo camper, owned by Brian Carter, was destroyed.
