Bobby Wayne Taylor, 89, of Bernie passed away Aug. 6, 2019 at the Ridgeview Living Community in Malden. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.

Bobby Wayne Taylor, 89, of Bernie passed away Aug. 6, 2019 at the Ridgeview Living Community in Malden.

He was the son of the late Claude Taylor and Ica Thrasher Taylor, and was born in Malden, Missouri on April 2, 1930.

Bobby Wayne Taylor was the owner/operator of Semo Gas in Bernie and was a member of the Sunnyvale General Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was united in marriage to Eujantia Green Taylor on February 28, 1947 in Piggott, Arkansas. She survives of the home.

His other survivors include two daughters: Patricia Ann (Jerry) Smith of Atlanta, Georgia and Janice Elaine Nichols of Bernie; one son, Robert Gradon (Sherry) Taylor of Charlotte, North Carolina; five grandchildren Christie Riley, Holly Sanders, Courtnie Persano, Summer Baruth and Brooks Hartman; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister Joann Brown of Malden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Harold Clayton Taylor and W. C. Taylor; and one sister Bonnie Lou Furlong.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Hamlett officiating.

Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri.
