Marlene Earls

FISK, Mo. — Marlene Earls, age 80, of Bernie, Mo., died Monday, July 29, 2019 at Southeast Missouri Hospital, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Mrs. Earls was born September 05, 1938 in Pascola, MO, daughter of the late Marley and Mada Bunn.

She had formerly worked at Brown Shoe Company and later worked for several years at Walmart in Dexter. She had attended the former Full Gospel Church at Broseley for several years. She later attended River of Life Church in Dexter until her health began to fail. She enjoyed flower gardening and being with her family.

On October 1, 1955 she married Donald Lee Earls. He preceded her in death on February 10, 1995.

She is survived by one daughter, Sheila Turman and husband, Kip of Bernie; two sons, Donnie Earls and wife, Fuxiang of Poplar Bluff and Kenneth Earls and wife, Teresa of Essex; two sisters, Vernell Wilkerson of Poplar Bluff and Dorothy Beck of Woodbridge, Va.; four brothers, Jack Bunn of Ozark, Mo., Steve Bunn and Garry Bunn, both Poplar Bluff and David Bunn of Naylor; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Earls.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 1 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 2 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gerald Berger officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley.
