City firefighters responded at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25, to a report of an unauthorized burn at 807 Kinzer St.
According to the report, upon arriving, firefighters found copper wire being burned and used 20 gallons to put it out.

According to the report, firefighters checked the attic area and found nothing.

City firefighters responded at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, to a report of smoke at 1424 Vine St.
According to the report, firefighters found a burnt spot in the kitchen floor and used a thermal imaging camera to check for a fire.
It is believed polyurethane soaked towels were left on the floor, and a chemical chain reaction started the fire.
