A variety of stun guns, knives and a blow dart gun were taken during an overnight break-in at Timeless Treasures in downtown Poplar Bluff.
Two large windows were broken by unknown individuals between 5 p.m. July 21 and shortly before 4 a.m. July 22 at the front of the building, which is in the 100 block of South Main Street.
“The windows appeared to have initially been broken with some large rocks,” police officers reported. “The windows of the store are very large and made of thick, heavy glass. One of the rocks struck a glass display case on the interior, causing damage to it also.”
The hole in one window was large enough for a person to step through, according to officers.
Several items were taken from a glass display case, including folding knives, auto open knives, knives with lighters built in, utility knives, a variety of stun guns, aluminum flasks, a tailgate converter and a blow dart gun. The estimated value of the items was over $1,000.
