According to the report, the interior of a 2008 Dodge Challenger, owned by Siera Simpson, burned.

County firefighters responded at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4, to a structure fire at the 2247 Audubon Road, owned by Daniel Helton.
According to the report, the home was fully involved upon the fire department’s arrival and was destroyed.
City firefighters also responded to assist with the fire.

According to the report, the burning object self extinguished and fell prior to arrival. There was no visible damage to the line.

City firefighters responded at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4, to 2711 Charlton Lane to a report of a tree on fire.
According to the report, an owner stated a Chinese lantern had been lit and a gust of wind blew it into the tree. A garden hose was used to extinguish the fire prior to arrival of firefighters.

City firefighters responded at 7:38 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, to 635 South Sixth St. to a report of an equipment fire at McCoy’s Scrap Processing.
According to the report, a material handler/grapple loader was on fire in the engine area. The fire was extinguished using 200 gallons of water and the equipment was checked for extension into other areas.
