Jessica Lynn Payne

PUXICO, Mo. — Jessica Lynn Payne, 40, of Puxico, passed away on July 6, 2019 after an 18 month battle with breast cancer. She married her husband, Chad, on January 6, 2007.

Besides her husband, she leaves behind two young daughters, Emma Lee, 7 and Ellie Meyer, 2. They were the loves of her life. Survivors also include her loving mother, Mary Branch (Bill) of Kennett, Mo.; father, William Bevel of Campbell, Mo.; one sister, Jennifer Middleton of Campbell and two nieces who held a special place in her heart, Gabrielle and Josephine Middleton. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Jessica was seventh and eighth grade science teacher at Fisk Middle School. She was of the Catholic Faith.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 at the Puxico School FEMA Building. The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11 at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Glennonville, Mo.
