WAPPAPELLO, Mo. — Paulette Jeneene (Polly) Pallett died on July 4, 2019, after a lengthy illness. A small memorial service will be held at Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church, Thursday, July 11, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Catherine Bryant officiating.

WAPPAPELLO, Mo. — Paulette Jeneene (Polly) Pallett died on July 4, 2019, after a lengthy illness. She was born to Richard Lee Pallett and Margery Jean Pallett on February 26, 1959, in Vallejo, California.

Polly graduated with a MA in Psychology and worked as a child psychologist, therapist, and home health worker.

Polly was a talented musician – an accomplished guitarist and singer/song writer/recording artist.

Her hobbies included designing and hand sewing Barbie doll clothes and furniture, drawing, and painting. She loved nature, gathering wildflowers, and tending her garden. She also loved to research anything she was curious about.

Polly loved the water and lived on her own boat for many years, restoring it and doing her own carpentry and engine repairs.

She is survived by one son, Christopher James Holder, whom she loved very much; her father, Richard L. Pallett of Wappapello; two brothers, Donald W. Carpenter of Cozad, Neb., Ted E. Pallett of Missouri.; one sister, Margery L. Waldrop of San Saba, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Paulette is preceded in death by her mother, Margery Jean Pallett.
