Kenneth Cartez Whitehead

NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Kenneth Cartez Whitehead, 59, of Neelyville, passed away June 11, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 27, 1959 in Neelyville to the late James Whitehead and Alberta Anderson.

He is survived by, one son, Justin Harris of Poplar Bluff, Mo; two sisters, Loretta Johnson of Benton Harbor, Mich. and Katherine Moffett of Muskegon, Mich. and one brother, James Whitehead of Poplar Bluff.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; Maezener Grandberry, Roberta Turner, Joyce Ann Whitehead and Mary Jane Bethea; as well as one brother, Robert Whitehead.

He was a member of True Believers Church of Poplar Bluff and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Neelvyille. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved the mountains, farming and raising animals.

Visitation will be Tuesday June 18 starting at 11 a.m. in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home of Neelyville with the funeral following at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be In the Neelyville Cemetery with Pastor Johnny Williams officiating.
