City firefighters responded at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, June 7, to report of a trash fire in the alley at 719 Lester St.
According to the report, firefighters found a dumpster on fire and used 50 gallons of water to put out the fire.

City firefighters responded at 12:49 p.m. Thursday, June 7, to a report of smoke in the 1132 Sunset Drive residence occupied by Savanah Pender.
According to the report, firefighters found light smoke in the residence.
Firefighters used the department’s thermal-imaging camera to check the residence and an electrical tester to check the outlets.
Firefighters found a breaker had been tripped. One plug end in the living room and both bathrooms reportedly did not have power.
Firefighters told Pender to have an electrician check her home out before resetting the breaker.
