The effort that was made to accomplish this was no small task. Several men and excavators worked for two weeks to bring this structure down. Organization and planning had to be done several days in advance for everything to flow smoothly, and still there were issues that had to be addressed during the process. Most issues occurred because of the unwillingness of the workers to accept the plan put in place. The instructions were clear and precise. The plan had been laid out by the project manager. But still, the workers were not willing to follow the plan.

In everyday life, we deal with issues that have to be brought down. Perhaps today you are dealing with money problems. Maybe you found out that your spouse is not as interested in you as they once were. Maybe it’s your children and you do not know how to deal with the struggle of raising them with all their drama. Perhaps you are dealing with anxiety, depression and hopelessness, all of which cripple you on a daily basis.

Well, the good news is you don’t have to try to figure it all out. Stop trying to figure out what’s causing all of the problems and certainly don’t think you have to come up with all the solutions. I want you to know there is a perfect plan that will help you tear down the issues that bring you down, and this plan will build you up to be the person you were created to be.

The effort that was made, for our piles of problems and mistakes to be hauled away, was no small task. However, just One Man did all the work that needed to be done. This plan has refuge and strength in times of trouble. It has hope in the face of fear. This plan has a Savior in place of condemnation. This plan has peace in the midst of storms. This is a perfect plan, and it has been laid out for you.

However, there is still one issue that remains. This issue has to be dealt with before you will see real change in your life. Your willingness to follow the plan. Just like the workers that caused chaos by not following the plan, some of what you are going through might be your unwillingness to follow the plan. God has already laid out the plan and has prepared the way for you to take the first step. Are you willing to take that first step toward Him and follow His perfect plan for your imperfect life?

A Lesson for Everyday Living:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In every area of your life submit to Him and He will straighten your life out. Do not think you are wiser than God. Honor God and turn away from things that are evil. If you will do this, you will have a healthier life and you will be stronger. (paraphrased from Proverbs 3:5-8).
