City firefighters responded at 2:17 a.m. Thursday, May 30, to an alarm at the Briggs & Stratton medical clinic, 725 Highway 142. It was investigation only.

City firefighters responded at 6:49 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, to a report of a generator running inside a business while the power was out at 2106 N. Westwood Blvd.
According to the report, power was restored just prior to the arrival of the fire department.
Firefighters contacted employees who confirmed a generator had been running inside the business. Firefighters told the employees that was a hazard and not acceptable to do at anytime.
The employees reportedly understood and apologized.
