City firefighters responded at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, to a report of a structure fire at the 106 S. B St. residence occupied by Crystal Dailey and owned by Bill Strange.
According to the report, the fire was out upon the arrival of the fire department.
A small fire in the laundry room near the dryer was put out when a plastic water line on the water heater ruptured.
Firefighters checked for fire extension and ventilated the home.
Municipal Utilities employees responded and disconnected the electric, as well as turned off the water.

City firefighters responded 8:17 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, to a report of an unauthorized burn at the 806 Emma St. residence occupied by Aaron Price.
According to the report, Price was found allegedly burning debris off copper wire in the front yard. Firefighters used 10 gallons of water to put out the fire.

County firefighters responded at 4:34 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, to a structure fire at 2973 County Road 668.
According to the report, the fire caused heavy damage to the second story of a home owned by Linda Trout.

County firefighters responded 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, to a vehicle fire on County Road 448.
According to the report, a 2012 Dodge pickup, owned by Nicholas Powell, was destroyed.
