NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Evelyn Naomi Jones, 83, of Fairdealing, Mo. passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019 at her home.
Mrs. Jones was born on Oct. 5, 1935 in Mo-Ark, Arkansas. She worked as a homemaker in her own home and enjoyed reading, puzzles, cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family. She enjoyed church and was a faithful member of the Supply Pentecostal Church.
On Oct. 25, 1952, she married Milburn Jones in Pocahontas, Ark. He survives.
Also surviving is Austin Leon Jones and wife, Sue of Doniphan, Mo., Robert Jones and wife, Mae of Conway, Ark., Paulette Jones of Fairdealing; Rhonda Daniels and husband, Johnny of Fisk, Mo, LaShae Gibson and husband Steve of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Clara Miller; one sister, Dorothy Riley; and two brothers, Charles Miller and Oval Ray Miller.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville. The funeral will follow on Thursday, May 23 at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Bill Settles officiating. Burial will be at Hitt Cemetery in Success.
