POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Jerry Ezell, 78, of Poplar Bluff, went to his Heavenly home on May 10, 2019 at his home in Poplar Bluff.
Jerry was born on February 6, 1941 to Clarence and Eunice Ezell in Doniphan, Mo. He married Patsy (Miller) on November 11, 1972, in Poplar Bluff, she survives.
Jerry had worked at the Poplar Bluff school system. He was a dedicated and faithful member of New Home General Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1966. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Jerry is survived by spouse, Patsy Ezell; son, Steven Miller (Gina); son, Dewayne Miller; son, Josh Miller (Shannon); daughter, Robin Mecey (David); daughter, Sherry Hamelback; grandchildren, Breanna, Trevor, Emma, Matthew, Savanah, Ethan and Triston Miller, Kurstin, Riley, BJ, Jordy and Andrea; seven great-grandchildren; brother, William Ezell (Sheila); sister-in-law, Mary Nance (Irvin) and brother-in-law, Joe Miller (Jean).
Jerry was preceded by his parents; the daughter of his heart, Connie Clements and sister, Paula Arnold.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14 from 11 a.m.-noon at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Funeral services will follow at noon with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating. Burial will take place at Shiloh Cemetery in Grandin, Mo.
