Roxanne Rycraft Potter, age 46, of Mount Vernon, Mo., died Friday, May 3, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo. A celebration of life is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at the MARC in Mount Vernon, Mo. There will also be a second service at noon Saturday, May, 18 at Mt. Calvary Powerhouse in Poplar Bluff.

Roxanne Rycraft Potter, age 46, of Mount Vernon, Mo., passed away at 6:08 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo. with her family by her side. She was born on June 19, 1972 in Blue Island, Ill. She is the daughter of Lance and Alice Rycraft.

Roxanne was a graduate of Miller High School. She was an Evangelist, singer/songwriter and an accomplished barrel racer.

Roxanne loved God, her friends, her animals and most of all, her family. Her home church was Mt. Calvary Powerhouse in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

On April 13, 2002 Roxanne was united in marriage to Donnie Potter in Aurora, Mo. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Potter; three children, Jake Schmidly, Stone Schmidly and Josie Potter; her dad, Lance Rycraft Sr.; her brother, Lance Rycraft II and wife, Chrissy; their three children, Lance III, Logan and Faith.

Roxanne was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Rycraft.

A celebration of life is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at the MARC in Mount Vernon, Mo. There will also be a second service at noon Saturday, May, 18 at Mt. Calvary Powerhouse in Poplar Bluff.
