Margie Aline (Bruce) Lesley

ELLSINORE, Mo. — Margie Aline (Bruce) Lesley, age 86, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Oakdale Care Center, in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Lesley was born December 20, 1932 in Dyersburg, Tenn., daughter of the late Alphonse and Della Bruce.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing gospel music.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Crowley (Gary) of Ellisinore, Bonnie Newcomb (Blaine)of Fairdealing and Brenda White of Van Buren; two sons, John White (Wilma) of Ellsinore and Michael White (Susie) of Grandin; one brother, Marvin Bruce (Pat) of Ferguson, Mo.; one sister-in-law, JoAnn Bruce of Qulin; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and her family of residents and staff and Oakdale.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Danny White and six brothers, J.R, Alton, Ed, Junior, Earl and Melvin Bruce and one sister, Lois Wiliams; one granddaughter, Angel Crowley and one great-grandson, Orin Freeze.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at Walton Chapel Cemetery near Ellsinore.
