POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Albert 'Bucky' Cevera Andrews died Friday, March 22, 2019. Visitation will be on Thursday March 28 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Old Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler County.

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Albert ‘Bucky’ Cevera Andrews passed away at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center unexpectedly, Friday, March 22, 2019. Bucky was the eldest son born to Albert “Buck” and Reva (Sprague) Andrews on Feb. 7, 1959 in Poplar Bluff. His mother, Reva, survives. Albert was baptized in Jesus’ name and was of the Pentecostal faith. Bucky met his beloved wife, Marla (Reed) Andrews, while she was a waitress at Spencer’s Drive-In. From this union they had three beloved sons, Michael (Sarah) Andrews, Chris Andrews, and Justin (Megan) Andrews. In later years, Bucky was blessed with his fourth son, Dalton Andrews. Bucky’s pride and joy were his three grandchildren, Dawson, Gracie and Lillie. These three blessings gave him much happiness, always wanting a special hug and kiss from each one. He is also survived by his brother, James (Sue) Andrews and sister, Debbie (Gary) Williams. many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Bucky was a man of many talents. He provided for his family as an insurance agent and operated Andrews Trucking. Bucky was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing with his family and friends. He was one of a kind and had a larger than life storytelling ability. Bucky was blessed with the passion of music, the guitar and drums. Bucky’s favorite passtime was gathering his boys and their families around a bonfire and sharing his love of playing the guitar and drums, forever leaving a legacy that will be passed down through the generations to come. Bucky never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, no man had a bigger heart. He had more friends than a man could count, especially his life long friends-family, Stag and Diane Bates, forever by his side.

Family leaving this earth before Bucky was his beloved father, Albert (Buck) Andrews Jr. and his precious baby granddaughter, Shaelynn Andrews.

Albert Bucky Andrews did not just exist in this world, he lived it! Bucky was one of a kind and he will be remembered.
