City firefighters responded at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, March 14, to a report of trash burning at the 1310 Gardner St. residence owned and occupied by Zelda Ordway.
According to the report, firefighters found an unauthorized burn involving the remains of a trash fire that were still smoking.
Firefighters reportedly told Ordway about the city’s burn ordinance.

County firefighters responded at 12:52 p.m. Thursday, March 14, to a report of a downed power line causing a small grass fire at 236 County Road 527.
According to the report, the fire had burned itself out. Firefighters contacted Ozark Border Electric Cooperative regarding the downed power line.
