Motorcycle driver killed in Friday night accident

A 57-year-old Broseley man died in a two-vehicle accident about 7:38 p.m. Friday on Butler County Route AA a half mile west of Missouri Highway 51.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol reports, Curtis D. Ferraresi was westbound on a 2016 Harley Davidson Motorcycle when a second vehicle traveling eastbound crossed the center of the roadway striking him head on.

The second vehicle a 2011 GMC Sierra was driven by Gina L. Blue, 53, of Broseley, patrol reports stated.

Ferraresi was pronounced dead at 8.25 p.m. by Butler County Coroner Andy Moore.

Ferraresi is the 14 fatality in Troop E this year.
