City firefighters responded at 4:38 p.m. Wednesday to a report of bricks falling off of the Little, Schellhammer, Richardson & Knowlan office, 123 S. Second St.

According to the report, firefighters found bricks in the road, which had came loose from the top of the building.

Firefighters used a ladder to get a closer look at the roof and found the metal flashing on the top of the roof was loose. The wind was causing it to lift and fall, knocking bricks loose.
