City firefighters responded at 4:25 p.m. Monday, March 11, to a report of a person trapped in an elevator at the Brent Tinnin Apartments, 2049 Greenwood Drive.
According to the report, firefighters used an elevator key to gain access and remove the person from the elevator.

County firefighters responded at 9:17 p.m. Sunday, March 10, to a report of a brush fire in the 2700 block of Hickman Road.
According to the report, the fire was out upon the arrival of the fire department. The fire involved a trash pile that had gotten out of control.
