Frederick Rhodes

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. — Frederick Rhodes, 73, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., departed this life Feb. 26, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Rhodes was born Feb. 26, 1946 in Poplar Bluff. He was a member of the American Legion Post 153 in Poplar Bluff and the VFW. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Army from 1963-1966.

On Sept. 4, 2000 he married Patricia (Davis) Rhodes in Vegas. She survives. Also surviving are his mother; Bonnie Stewart, brothers; Danny Rhodes and wife Jackie and Van Rhodes and wife Sheila and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rhodes was preceded in death by his father; Fred Rhodes.

There will be a full military rites ceremony at 10 a.m., Friday, March 1 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
