PIGGOTT, Ark. — Randol Lee Mikel, 59, of Piggott, passed away February 13, 2019, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark.

He was born on March 23, 1959, in Clarkton, Mo., and was the son of James William Mikel and Graphel Sue (Thrasher) Mikel Crum.

Randy was united in marriage to Lisa Diane Davis on May 14, 1988, and to this union a daughter, Morgan, was born.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Danny Mikel and Gary Mikel; and sister, Linda Mikel.

Randy started working at Piggott Tractor and Equipment in 1977. He worked for the company for 42 years and became Regional Manager for Legacy Equipment managing both the Piggott and Corning stores. He enjoyed his many employees, managers, and farmers.

He loved God, family, friends, hunting, fishing, and throwing the ball for his pup. He also enjoyed woodworking and perfecting anything he did.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Diane Mikel of Piggott; daughter, Morgan Alys Mikel of Saint Peters, Mo.; siblings, Phyllis Harrison, Debby Lundstrom, Billy Ray Mikel all of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Shirlee Vos of Reidland, Ky., and Barbara Cunningham of Fisk, Mo.; brothers, James Mikel of Mountain Home, Ark.; half-sisters, Teresa Centers of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Louise Harris of Dongola, Ill., Carmie Mikel of Piggott; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 16, beginning at noon until 3 p.m. with a service beginning at 3 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott, with Bro. Jerry Morgan officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, is in charge of the arrangements.

Randy’s wishes were to have a Celebration of Life because he truly enjoyed living it.
