QULIN, Mo. — Rose Johnson, age 87, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her residence, in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Johnson was born March 28, 1931 in Qulin, daughter of the late James Tilman and Eunice Lee Nobles. She had formerly worked at Federal Mogul for several years and retired from the USPS as an assistant postmaster. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She was a member of Highland Drive Church of Christ. On January 22, 1949 she married Floyd Johnson. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1990. She is survived by one sister: Charlene Sarno of Poplar Bluff; five grandsons: Robert (Amanda) Losh, Mitchell Losh, Daniel Johnson, Dustin Johnson, Darren (Rachael) Johnson; one granddaughter: LeAnn (Doug) Ledbetter; ten great grandchildren: Dylon, Danielle, Deseray, Jesse, Matthew, Samuel and Lilly Johnson, Chase Losh, and Tanner and Wyatt Ledbetter. She was also preceded in death by two sons: Floyd Alan “Shorty” Johnson, Danny Johnson; one daughter: Pat Householder; three brothers: Jim, Ralph, and Warren Nobles; three sisters: Helen Vaughn, Velma Ruth Klopfer, Irene Phelps. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Vernon Curry officiating.
