City firefighters responded at 11:56 a.m. Tuesday to assist emergency-medical-services personnel at 1305 Gray St.
According to the report, firefighters assisted EMS in moving a patient onto a stretcher, out of his or her home and into the ambulance.
Firefighters then met the ambulance at the hospital and helped remove the person from the ambulance and into the hospital.
Firefighters returned to the home at 10:26 p.m. to assist EMS in moving the patient from an ambulance into his or her home.

City firefighters responded at 5:04 p.m. Tuesday to a report of smoke in the area of the 500 block of Arthur Street.
According to the report, firefighters found an unauthorized burn at the 525 Arthur St. residence owned by Michael Smith.
Firefighters used 30 gallons of water to put out the fire and told Smith about the city’s burn ordinance.
