Linda Kaye Cross, 74, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Cedargate Healthcare. Kaye, the daughter of the late Lon and Velma (Derryberry) Bowen was born August 11, 1944 in Marysville, Ca. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Kaye was a R.N. and a previous Director of Home Health for Corning, Ark. and Salt Lake City, Utah. She enjoyed spending time with her family, genealogy and cooking...

Linda Kaye Cross, 74, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Cedargate Healthcare.

Kaye, the daughter of the late Lon and Velma (Derryberry) Bowen was born August 11, 1944 in Marysville, Ca. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Kaye was a R.N. and a previous Director of Home Health for Corning, Ark. and Salt Lake City, Utah. She enjoyed spending time with her family, genealogy and cooking.

On April 26, 1966, she married Donald Leon Cross in Poplar Bluff. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Erik Dan-el Cross and Ian Mateo Cross of Rogers, Ark, Ahmie Lee Cross of Fayetteville, Ark. and Kaylyn Nelson of New York; seven grandchildren, Erika Lamb, Michael Cross, Holly Cross, Sean Cross, Shawn Campbell Tiara Cross and William Fields; six great-grandchildren, Aiden Lamb, BeaLynn Lamb, Keira Lamb, Amelia Lamb, Kyle Belt and Natalya Ware, and a brother, Lee Bowen of Dexter, Mo.

Three brothers, Leo Bowen, Leon Bowen and Lon "Bill" Bowen and five sisters, Leona Smith, Leola "Sue" Schulte, Lenora Bowen, Lena Reynolds and Leota Bowen, preceded her in death.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church, with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. with Bishop Steve Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk, Mo.
