BLOOMFIELD -- Behind 21 points from Tanner Freeman, Richland was able to grind out an overtime victory on the road against Bloomfield. Perry Daniel added 19 points and five 3-pointers in the 60-59 win Tuesday. Carson Blair and Travis McCullough led the way for Bloomfield with 16 and 17 points, respectively.

Tuesday's Games

South Iron 78, Ellington 68

Ellington was unable to stop Brock Wakefield Tuesday in its 78-68 loss. Wakefield scored 21 points as South Iron was able to hold off the Whippets after having a 13-point lead entering the fourth quarter.

Kyle Conkright led all scorers with 28 points on six made 3s for Ellington.

Bernie 78, Gideon 46

Josh Ellenburg led the way with 22 points in Bernie's blowout win over Gideon. Ellenburg started out hot with 15 points in the first half as the Mules scored 56 points through two quarters. Blake Harty added 13 and both Wston Zoll and Hunter Slavings scored 12 for the Mules.

Porageville 74, Clarkton 57

Clarkton had no answer for Portageville's offense as the Pirates has the Reindeer doubled up 30-15 by halftime in their blowout win. Allen Matney was one of the bright spots for Clarkton as he finished with 15 points in the game on six made field goals. Lee Matney was another solid contributor for Clarkton's offense, finishing with 20 points to lead the team.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Tuesday's Games

Twin Rivers 52,

Clearwater 31

Twin Rivers put on a solid defensive performance against Clearwater, allowing just 31 points. Abbey Hester led the way for the offense with 14 points on six made shots. Katie Deken was the other Lady Royal in double figures with 10 points on four field goals.

The Lady Royals outscored the Lady Tigers 24-4 in the fourth quarter to run away with the win.
