WAPPAPELLO, Mo. -- Betty Gallamore, 73, of Wappapello, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 at her residence.
Betty, the daughter of the late George Robert and Tommie Stafford Markham, was born Oct. 9, 1946 in Poplar Bluff. She had retired from Real Estate.
Betty is lovingly survived by three children, Shelia (Bob) Schneider of Warrensburg, Mo., Ray (Tracy) Gallamore of New Baden, Ill. and David (Ellen) Gallamore of Dexter, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rev. Susie Hampton of Poplar Bluff and Jo Ellen Bailey of Wappapello; and three brothers, Harry Markham of Scottsdale, Ariz., Bill Markham of Nixa, Mo. and Pete Markham of Poplar Bluff.
Betty also was preceded in death by a sister Dena Mitchell and two brothers, James Markham and Grayson Markham.
A celebration of Betty's life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel.
