If the number of good reasons for Missouri Republicans to get out and vote is any indicator of turnout Tuesday, Nov. 6, this should be one of the biggest. Let's review those good reasons:

* National and state unemployment is lower than it has been in many years;

* There are more jobs available in the U.S. than there are people looking for work;

* The stock market is continuously setting all-time records for growth;

* The relations between the U.S. and North Korea are progressing and North Korea has stopped test firing missiles;

* NAFTA has been replaced with new deals that benefit all countries involved;

* Two new Supreme Court Justices that adhere to the Constitution are now in place.

These are all positive reasons to get out and vote and there are many more. But some folks may need a little more prodding and may respond better to the not-so-positive reasons to vote. Such as:

* Left wing progressives want to remove the tax cut Congress passed;

* Many Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, are encouraging uncivil behavior against those they disagree with;

* Many on the left want the borders of the U.S. to be open and to do away with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE);

* The treatment of Judge Kavanaugh by Democrat members of the Senate and the left-wing media was absolutely unconscionable.

Pure civic responsibility should be enough to motivate each citizen to the ballot box. But in this election there are plenty of other reasons to get out and make our Republican voices heard.
