NEELYVILLE, Mo. - Gary Homer Moore, 71, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away September 30, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 23, 1947 in Saint Francis County, Missouri, to Homer Moore and Mevina Bowen Moore.
Mr. Moore had served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans, V.F.W. and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, watching CSI and SVU.
He is survived by his children; Stacy Moore, Tracy Moore both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Gary Moore of Missouri, Carla Moore of Ohio, Taylor Moore of Doniphan, Missouri. Two sisters, Carol Walker and Linda Dawson as well as his grandchildren; Hunter Pender, Tria Pender, Kierra Pender, Cierra Pender, Tara Smith, Terry Smith Jr., Shawn Chatat, Hunter Chatat, Andrew Chatat, William H. Chafin Jr., Anita Chafin, Thomas Chafin, Chole Channell, and Two great grandchildren; Emberlyn Needles, Lukas Vance.
He was preceded by his parents, as well as sisters; Sandra Marshall and Donna Gehlert and two brothers Michael Moore and Keith Moore.
Visitation will be October 3, 2018, starting at 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home of Neelyville, Missouri with a graveside service beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery. Pastor Mike Gordon officiating.
