Michael L. Vaughn, 68, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 at his residence.
He was born June 30, 1950 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. to the late Jason Vaughn and Emma Pratt Vaughn. He was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff.
Michael married Sandy K. Sheffer November 21, 1974. She survives.
Michael worked for Odell Cleaners. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on small engines.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Michael Vauhgn, Greg Vaughn, and Robert Vaughn, all of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Sherrie Vaughn and Kimberly Simmons, both of Poplar Bluff; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Jason Vaughn, Danny Vaughn, Tommy Vaughn, and George Vaughn; and one sister, Rebecca Powell.
A visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home. Elder Robert Duckett will officiate. Burial will be at Black Creek Cemetery.
