The Hoppers Thanks to the Fellowship Baptist Church for the uplifting family, The Hoppers. There was people there from good distances away and other churches. I don't attend this church it shows you can have fellowship, love for one another in a way that's supposed to be. We are to tell the good news. We need all the churches not to be selfish, everyone who has a talent that the Lord gave them to use it for Him in the church. Thanks and God bless...

Kudos

Thank you so much Daily American Republic for printing the column written by Linda Bloodworth Thomason. Kudos to Ms. Thomason for everything she stated in that column. I hope so much that the new "Designing Women" starts very soon.

Turn of phrase

Yes, I believe that Scott Borkgren, the sports writer for the DAR should not have used the term "the Poplar Bluff Mules took a knee during the pre-game ceremony for the Poplar Bluff educator and sports legend Tom Hoover." Um, in today's vernacular "take a knee" means to protest. He should've said "knelt in respect." Thank you very much.
