SIKESTON, Mo. - David Ray Trice Sr. , 63, of Sikeston, Missouri passed away, Tuesday September 11, 2018 in the Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston. He was born February 18, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Raymond Lee Trice Sr. and Mildred Lewis Trice.
On February 17, 1995 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri he was married to Blanca Guajardo. She survives. Also surviving; His mother; Mildred Trice of Neelyville, Missouri, daughters; Roshonda Jackson of Arlington, Texas and Davida Trice of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, sons; Christopher McComb of Neelyville, Demetrius Watkins of Denver, Colorado, David Ray-Shun Jackson of Monroe, Louisiana, David Earl Trice of Washington and David Ray Trice Jr. of Sikeston. Sisters; Dorothy A, Murchison and husband Ronald of Little Rock, Arkansas, Delbra Ricketts of Riverside, California, Arnita Wilkins and husband Thavernon of Charleston, Missouri. Brothers; Raymond Trice Jr. of Seattle, Washington, Garland Trice of Poplar Bluff, Darrell Trice and Bradley Trice both of Neelyville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father; Raymond Lee Trice Sr.
David was a 16 year veteran of the United States Army, serving mostly in Germany as well as in North Korea and South Korea. After being honorable discharged in 1990, David acquired his CDL license where he had worked for, Hall's Trucking Line out of Charleston, Missouri and Synder's LLM. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, canning and his family.
Services will be 10 a.m., September 22, at the Free Will Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston, with the funeral following at 11 a.m. at the church. Pastor Victor Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery at Little Rock, Arkansas.
