QULIN, Mo. - Marie Pride, age 88, of Qulin, MO, died Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center, in Cape Girardeau, MO. Mrs. Pride was born March 05, 1930 in Qulin, MO to the late Benjamin Franklin and Dolly (Craig) Nobles. She was a homemaker and also was head cook at the Twin Rivers School in Qulin for 35 years. Cooking was a passion and a ministry for her. Her greatest love was to cook for family and friends. She was a lifelong member of Osborn General Baptist Church. On February 21, 1946 she married Sidney Pride at Piggott, Arkansas, he survives. Also surviving are one son: Gary Pride of Qulin, MO; one daughter: Reba Heller and husband Burton of Kennett, MO; one brother: Jerry Nobles of Qulin, MO; one sister: Wanda Mayberry of St. Louis, MO; seven grandchildren: Leslie Pride and companion Rick Pierson, Lisa Caldwell and husband Nick, Melissa Launius and husband Shane, Manda Hequembourg and husband Scott, Adam Brown and wife Penny, Holt Pride, Laith Pride; five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Monty Flanigan officiating. Burial will be in Qulin Cemetery at Qulin, MO.
