EAST PRAIRIE -- Naylor sophomore pitcher Alyssa Urich threw a perfect game Monday as the Eagles won 10-0 in five innings.
Urich, who had three no-hitters through six games, relied on her defense as she struck out two along the way.
Faith Sullivan had three hits, two runs and two RBIs to lead the Naylor offense. McKenzie Crawford added two hits and two runs while Lyndsee Moore scored twice for Naylor (5-1).
Doniphan 16,
Bakersfield 1, 4 inn
The Donettes made quick work of Bakersfield Monday by scoring seven runs in the fourth to earn a run-rule win. Kaylee Davis had a strong day pitching despite the short outing. She pitched all four innings and struck out five while allowing just three hits. Davis also turned in a solid outing in the batter's box, leading Doniphan with three RBIs, while Jaylin Dutton led the team with four runs scored. Both players tied for the team lead with three hits, accounting for six of Doniphan's 11 total.
East Carter 10, Alton 5
East Carter tallied its third win in a row Monday, improving to 6-4 behind 14 total hits from its batting lineup. Naomi Crowley and Bailey Gargac led the charge with three hits apiece, and Jordan Moore turned in a pair of RBIs for a team-high. When Crowley reached base, she was dangerous, stealing three on the day to match Paytin Gholson for the team lead. The Redbirds timed up 13 stolen bases on the day. Makenna Moore had a solid outing at pitcher. She struck out a dozen as part of a complete game.
Dora 10, Van Buren 0, 5 inn.
Grace Looney had two of Van Buren's five hits in a 5-inning home shutout. Van Buren (2-6) struggled defensively with nine errors as Dora only had four hits.
BASEBALL
Advance 16, Twin Rivers 1, 4 inn.
Advance improved its record to 5-3 behind a three-run home run by Austin Bailey in the second inning and a three-run shot from Noah Sauceda in the third. Bailey and Sauceda both finished the game with three RBIs to lead the team. In total, Advance poured on 10 hits in four innings stoles nine bases and drew six walks. Gus Garner went three innings on the mound for the Hornets, allowing two hits and striking out one.
South Pemiscot 3,
Campbell 2
Noah Willingham didn't allow a hit in his 5 1/3 innings on the mound Monday as South Pemiscot managed to grind out a victory over Campbell. Willingham struck out four and earned one of the Bulldogs' two RBIs before Ross Russell came in to relieve him. Russell pitched 1 2/3 innings, striking out five, allowing no walks and no earned runs. South Pemiscot totaled four hits on the day, while Campbell recorded its two hits in the sixth inning as part of a late rally attempt that fell just short.
East Carter 15, Alton 7
East Carter scored at least one run in all seven innings on the way to a win over Alton to push its record to 5-2. Dalton Rudd scored a team-high four runs and tied with Jordan Douglas for the team lead with four RBIs with the help of two homers. Tommy Baldridge added a homer of his own with a three-run blast in the fifth. The Redbirds racked up 13 hits and drew eight walks on the day.

Senath-Hornersville 1
Parker Jeffries pitched a complete game and struck out eight batters to help Neelyville earn its first win of the fall season. In the batter's box, Jeffries notched an RBI via a double, one of Neelyville's five doubles on the day. Lane Crosswhite batted in a pair with two doubles, including one to open the scoring in the bottom of the second.
