Amos Ron Berry, 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at Riverways Manor in Van Buren, Mo.
Mr. Berry was born March 6, 1935, in Poplar Bluff, son of the late Rev. Amos H. and Una Berry. He served in the Air Force and retired from John J. Pershing VAMC. He formerly attended Fellowship General Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising Beagles.
On Sept. 8, 1953, he married Hazel Bradley. She preceded him in death Jan. 13, 2013.
He is survived by one son: Tim Berry, and wife Loretta of Poplar Bluff; one son-in-law: Edward Colvin of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren: Ben Colvin, and fiancé Jessica, Josh Colvin, and wife Christine, Becky Colvin, Tim Colvin, and wife Sarah, and Bethany Colvin; three great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Colvin, Isabell Colvin and Makayla Colvin. He was preceded in death by one daughter: Carrie Colvin.
