The VFW insurance carrier said, no candy may be thrown from moving vehicles. Participants walking the parade route may hand out candy
Participants in this year's Puxico Homecoming parade will be required to arrive between 10 a.m. and noon Saturday, Aug. 18, at South Park.
There will be several VFW officials wearing orange safety vests who will direct participants as to where they will be placed in the parade. Seek them out for guidance .
Horses will assemble in grassy area across from South Park Lagoon area.
Fire trucks, Shriners' cars, bikes will assemble in People's Bank Parking parking lot.
Tractors will enter the parade route from Industrial Drive.
VFW Coordinator Bill Hemby will be the point of contact for parade.
