Missouri Department of Conservation agents Sarah Dietzer and Hayley Honeycutt showed snakes Saturday to children attending a program at the Bill Emerson Memorial Visitor Center at Wappapello Lake. Dietzer and Honeycutt discussed snakes common to Missouri, also explaining the benefits and dangers of different snakes. Community members were able to touch the snakes and learn about them, while children were given activities pertaining to snakes and how they look.
